Default If you could...

After having this discussion with some friends I decided it would be a cool topic to discuss. What would you do if you could go back to the first day of GW launch with all knowledge of builds, professions, farming, pvp etc.

Personally I would head straight to UW and FoW and farm me some FoW armour with 55 prot bond monk and then set up a team to own halls.

It would be really boring to return to launch day with all that knowledge as there wouldn't be any fun to be had from figuring it out for yourself. You'd soon get bored and go play another game.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to go back to launch with only the knowledge I had at launch... those were the days... simpler times indeed...

sigils used to be 100k bac at the begining?1 looking at th trader yesterday there at 10k. wow. They used to be really expensive, now they're really cheap. i think we'll see alot of n00b/ebay guilds popping p.

Anyway, i would like to go back, but with only the knowledge I had when I first played. Pre searing with old ischie over tehre was extremely fun. Then the wammos learnt how to dance......

That exploit was introduced when Observer Mode was introduced; i.e. long, long after release.

If only I were smart enough to take the advantage of buying up materials when they were cheap. =/ Actually early in the game I found out about many nice ways to make money. For example there were 4 chests outside Port Sledge that you could just open, since they weren't locked. I got a bunch of mods that were pricey at that time.

Get'em while they're hot! I got HoD Swords! I got 15% FFS! Only 400k each! Get'em while they're hot.....

But the best thing I'd do if I could go back, would be to raise a massssssive minion army...one...last...time. (sniff, I never got to say goodbye)

I don't know. I spent months figuring it out and get my first character through all the missions to the end. I must have spent an eternity in the desert, finished the game, and then was told you could get an extra 30 attribute points off of a couple of quests.

It was a pain, but it was very satisfying doing it all the way through legitimately. Now I know all the tricks and found myself running a new Wa/Mo through to get the survivor title in a few days.

I would make all my characters and not delete them to reroll!!
Then i would not have bought a second account!! I swear, there should be a multiple account merge option!! It would be my loss, but so what. I just want all my primary characters on one account.
Maybe farm a few things....but thats not a priority.

The PvE game would be boring for me - I would set up bots, catching each tactic as it started. I would be one of the first people to get rank 9 (UAX of course), sell my account, then use that money to buy many more accounts which I would turn into a self-sustaining bot farm.
